3. Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny (June 30)

Harrison Ford reprises the role of the titular character, Indiana Jones, for the fifth time, pulled back into the game for what might be the final run of the franchise. The teaser and trailer provide the nostalgic feel of the first films in the franchise and ensure that we completely forget that Harrison is 80 years old. The movie promises to be an epic closure to a franchise over three decades old.

4. Oppenheimer (July 21)

Created by the legend, Christopher Nolan’s 12th movie is a biopic named after the man who created the atomic bomb, J. Robert Oppenheimer. Played by Cillian Murphy, the star of the hit show, Peaky Blinders, Oppenheimer is set to be a rollercoaster of emotions, and considering just how much work Nolan puts into his world, there’s no doubt that Oppenheimer will be a blast.

5. Mission: Impossible — Dead Reckoning Part One (July 14)

Tom Cruise is possibly the hardest-working man in the industry. Ethan Hunt returns once again in the Mission: Impossible franchise to save the world from whatever forces have reared their head. Hunt and the crew are right there, ready to step in and save the world. From death-defying stunts to the classic espionage that made us fall in love with the movies, Dead Reckoning is only a month away, and we absolutely cannot wait.

6. Barbie (July 21)

If you grew up watching 12 Dancing Princesses, you’d definitely enjoy this Mattel production.

7. Blue Beetle (August 18)

With James Gunn at the helm of DC’s future, Blue Beetle introduces DC’s first Latino superhero to the big screen in Jamie Reyes. Judging from how fun the trailer was, the movie is set to be a coming-of-age tale of a young superhero trying to find his path in the world, something that audiences everywhere are sure to love.

8. Expendables 4 (September 22)

Coming as a surprise, the familiar faces from The Expendables return once again to save the world from a new threat of mercenaries who intend on selling a new deadly weapon.
